The Petras is an all-female, indie pop-rock band from Kingston, Ontario. Inspired by rockers The Runaways and The Beaches, their distinctive sound blends retro and modern sensibilities with a powerful mix of captivating vocals, melodic solos, and driving beats. The Petras tap into a unique female energy in their lively shows, serving up catchy original songs and kickin' covers with a bouncy vibe that’s fresh and fun! Past shows include Ed The Sock's Socktoberfest 2025, Pop Montreal 2024, Eastern Ontario Women's Arts Festival 2024, and Voodoo Rockfest 2023. Currently recording with Juno award-winner and founding member of Glass Tiger, Michael Hanson, The Petras promises to be a band to watch!
